Glendale moves forward with townhome project titled Residences at Westgate

On Tuesday night, the Glendale city approved the a minor general plan and rezoning for a project titled Residences at Westgate.

The site is located east of the northeast corner of 87th Avenue and Glendale Avenue, and is roughly 2.47 acres.

The  applicant Glendale Farms LLC, is proposing  to use the property for a thirty-seven  unit townhome project which will include attached garages, patios, private rear yards, and common open space with amenities.

The site will be rezoned from agriculture to planned area development 

With the site loacted near Loop 101 corridor and the Westgate Entertainment District,  a townhome project close to employment opportunities will benfit the city, according to proposal documents.
