Looking for a place to practice slap shots or spins in Scottsdale, AZ?

The contemporary abode of former National Hockey League player John Curry might be just the place.

Listed for $12.5 million, the 12,030-square-foot residence offers more than the traditional living spaces.

“It currently has a lower level, half of which is dedicated to an ice rink that could be used for figure skating or hockey,” explains listing agent Kathleen Benoit, with Russ Lyon Sotheby's International Realty.

Let's lace up and take a look!

Indoor rink

The professionally designed rink is about half the size of a regulation rink, but that's still pretty roomy. For those who feel safer just watching, you can hang out in the bar and lounge area. There's also a a bunkroom that sleeps eight. Imagine the ice skating parties that could be hosted here.

However, the ice rink can also disappear and be used for other sports, too.

Even though the ice area has separate cooling units, because of the Arizona heat, the owners have purposely melted the ice between May and October to use the space as a sport court.
